John H. Woodbury

John H. Woodbury, 64 of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at UMass Hospital.

John was born on June 2, 1956 in Holden, MA where he graduated from Wachusett Regional High School.  He was a son of the late Homer and Dorothy (Wagner) Woodbury.  John worked as an accountant executive for Sterling Movers for 20 years.

John leaves his beloved wife of 43 years, Mary E. (Caracciolo) Woodbury; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jason Aucoin, his granddaughter, Antonia I. Aucoin all of Rutland; four brothers, Edward Woodbury of Arizona, Kenneth Woodbury and his wife Wendy of Rutland, Homer Woodbury of New Hampshire and Thomas Woodbury and his wife Cheryl of Maine; three sisters, Marilyn Fennell of Spencer, Nancy Johnson and Doris Boisvert both of Maine; five brothers-in-law, Robert Caracciolo and his wife Jean of Florida, Dennis Caracciolo of Shrewsbury, Jay Caracciolo and his wife Eileen of Oxford, David Caracciolo of Shrewsbury and Paul Caracciolo and his wife Kathee of Oxford; many nieces and nephews.

John was clearly a man who loved to make people laugh and smile. His family knew him only as a kind and mild-mannered, hard-working husband and father. John was known for his one-liners and always was the life of the party. He took extreme pride in his daughter and all of her accomplishments, from getting married and giving him his greatest joy of all, his granddaughter who affectionately called him “Poppy”. John will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many family, friends and co-workers.

Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings there are no services. His life will be celebrated when it is safe for family and friends to come together at a later time.
