Jon A. Francesco, 67, of Charlton, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020, in the comfort of his home, after living courageously for 15 months with pancreatic cancer.
Jon in survived by his loving wife and best friend, Norma J. (Stafinski) Francesco; two daughters, Billie Jean Theriault, wife of the late David Theriault of Dudley, and Leah Marie Berthiaume and her husband Jason of Dudley; a step-daughter and step-son, Nicole Lee Pratt and her husband Nathaniel of Millbury, and Thomas Leo Bourassa of Spencer; two sisters, Deborah Gauntlett and Gina Guertin, both of Florida; and five wonderful grandchildren, Alan Berthiaume U.S. Air Force, Hailey Beaudette, Brady Theriault, Monroe Berthiaume, and Maverick Berthiaume; nieces and nephews. Jon was born in Worcester, son of the late Anthony and Geraldine (Tripp) Francesco, and grew up in Northborough where he graduated from Algonquin High School.
Jon worked as a truck driver and dispatcher for Aggregate Industries for over 20 years before retiring in 2012. He was a member of the Keystone Club with his "crew". He enjoyed caring for his gardens and all of his dogs. Jon loved summer vacations in Cape Cod, where he enjoyed relaxing at the beach with friends and family.
Calling Hours will be on Tuesday, March 10, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
His Funeral will be on Wednesday, March 11, all people attending are invited to gather directly at Saint Joseph Church, 10 H. Putnam Road, Charlton, where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
