Joseph W Chiapulis

Joseph W. Chiapulis 68 of Auburn passed away unexpectedly Monday March 8^th, 2021 at home.

Joe was born in Worcester and attended St. Peter’s High School. After high school he traveled and spent a couple of years in Arizona. Joe worked for different machine shops in and around the city and also worked for Meagher & Co. and the Salvation Army. Joe became disabled 18 years ago and spent much of his time walking and enjoying the outdoors. He always looked forward to spending time fishing and especially enjoyed his ice fishing trips.

Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph P. Chiapulis and Jean E. (Gubber) Beaulieu, his brother Peter and sisters Terry Chiapulis and Chris Hinkle. He leaves his sister Susan Ritchotte and her husband John of Uxbridge, MA. In addition, he leaves his niece Rachel Massey of Woonsocket, R.I. nephews Dylan Ritchotte and his wife Keri of Mendon, MA, Cody Ritchotte of Missoula, MT. and Jacob Massey of Muskogee, OK.  He also leaves his great nephew and niece Ezra and Winslow Ritchotte of Mendon.

Out of an abundance of caution, funeral services and burial at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton will be private. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
