Joseph V. "Butch" Page, 64, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at St. Vincent's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Butch was born in Worcester, a son of the late Joseph V. Sclamo and Marjorie D. (Lowell) Page. He was a graduate of Worcester Schools and lived there all his life. Butch worked as a shipper and receiver for City Sporting Goods for 35 years retiring in 2016. He enjoyed scratch tickets, cards, Yahtzee, watching his shows especially family feud and Chicago P.D and especially loved spending time with his family. In his younger years, Butch was very involved with Friendly House basketball.
Butch's wife of 37 years, Joyce E. (Farrand) Rose, passed in 2012. He is survived by two sons, Joseph Page, Jr. and his wife Evelyn Saez and Gregory Page and his wife Andry Roman; two daughters, Stephanie Page and Meagan Page all of Worcester; two step daughters, Heather Rose of Uxbridge and Kristen Rose of Worcester; a brother, Michael Page and his wife Deborah of Boise, ID; a sister, Cheryl DeProspo and her husband Ron; fourteen grandchildren, Joseph, Olivia, Lily, Mya, Jaylen, Mealani, Eric, Jr., Kiara, Mateo, Greyson, Jacian, Maliyah and Mathias; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son, Eric Page in 2020; a grandson, Derick Majors; two brothers, Gary E. Page and Clayton E. Gleason.
A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 5-8 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be held privately.
