Joseph F. Sullivan Jr. 65, of Worcester died unexpectedly on Sunday May 27, 2018 at home. He leaves behind his beloved Daughter and best friend Kerri Sullivan of Worcester and her boyfriend John Eval, his girlfriend Elizabeth Pool, his former wife and friend Lorilee (Smith) Valastro and her husband Joseph Valastro, his brother David Sullivan, and two sisters Peggy Dooling and Donna Corson and her husband Sonny. He also is survived by his canine buddy Bailey, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a son Jason Sullivan and two sisters Debra Scanlan and Teresa White.
Joseph was born in Boston son of the late Joseph Sr. and Patricia (Cahill) Sullivan. He was a graduate from Quincy High School and lived in Quincy until his late 20’s when he moved to Worcester. Joseph was the chief engineer at the Embassy Suites Hotel in East Boston for many years where he worked until his passing. He was dedicated to his work and was thought of very highly by his co-Workers.
Joseph enjoyed golfing, music, travel and was a lifelong New England sports fan. He had a wild sense of humor and a unique sense of fashion! He loved to make people laugh and was always there with a quick joke or a shoulder to lean on. He enjoyed spending his free time with family and friends who will all miss him endlessly. In Joseph’s memory, the family asks that you live your life to the fullest every day, as he always did.
