Joshua Rosa, Jr.

Joshua Rosa, Jr., 42 of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 26, 2024.

Joshua was born in Worcester on March 11, 1981.  He graduated from Worcester Vocational High School with a focus in culinary arts.   Joshua continued his education at Hair in Motion with his cosmetology certification and later Rob Roy Academy with his barber certification.  He worked as a manager for Tu Moda Spa.

Joshua loved going to the gym, gardening- especially growing sunflowers and peppers, and was an avid collector of Funkopops and Hotwheels.  He also loved the Batman and Spiderman movie series.  His real passion was spending time with his daughter and raising her.   Together, they shared a love for Disney and were able to create beautiful lasting memories during their trips with one another.  

Joshua is survived by his daughter, Arianna Rosa; his parents, Josue Rosa and Nilda (Torres) Rosa all of Worcester; his sister, Jennifer Rosa of Dallas, TX; a niece, Isabella Montagliani of Dallas, TX; his maternal grandmother, Luz Delia Torres of Worcester; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.  He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ricardo Rosa and Idalia Vasquez, and his maternal grandfather Juvenal Torres.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 4-7 pm followed by a service at 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUENBRAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be held privately.
