Juan Carlos Sainz 61 of Oxford, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Monday July 29, 2024. Born in La Paz Bolivia on July 31, 1962, to Hernan Sainz Mercado and Mery Montero Rodriguez. He moved to the United States at the age of 18. Juan Carlos is survived by his two children, who he loved very much, Jonathan and Gabriella Sainz, as well as his 8 siblings, relatives, and friends.
Juan Carlos worked at the T.J. Maxx Distribution Center in Worcester and served as an elected official in the Union Local Chapter for 38 years. Service was something that he loved very much, helping employees to be treated with fairness and respect. He was a man that loved to help people.
He is a very loved and great man, who appreciated life and enjoyed - music, sports, camping, occasional hiking and traveling.
Calling Hours will be held at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel at 370 Plantation Street, Worcester on Thursday, August 1st from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 67 Chester Street, Worcester, on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held privately.
