Judith A. (Taylor) D’Onofrio, 79, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, John A. D’Onofrio predecease as well as her son, Richard M. D’Onofrio and her sister Jean Webb.
Judith leaves two sons, John A. D’Onofrio, Jr. and his wife Alison and William C. D’Onofrio and his wife Paula; three daughters, Lori J. Jennette, Lynne A. Bishop and Debra A. D’Onofrio as well as nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
She was born in Worcester, MA on August 13, 1939 and raised in Millbury, MA, where she attended Millbury High. She was the daughter of the late William P. and Ida M. (Jette) Taylor.
She retired 17 years ago, at the age of 62, from Worcester Municipal Credit Union, where she was employed since the late 1980’s. Judith enjoyed dancing, playing golf and going to flea markets. Her fondest memories were always flooded with the mention of family, she took great pride in gathering all of her loved ones together. She enriched her family’s lives with her generosity, kindness, and understanding and patience. She was always there with open arms to listen, guide and provide unconditional love to any and everyone. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Planation Street, Worcester. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, October 9th at 10 a.m. followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Saint Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Her burial will be held at Central Cemetery, Millbury. Memorial contributions may be made to Central MA Hospice, 191 Pakachoag Street, Auburn MA 01501.
