Judith C. (Croteau) Rucho, 83, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Saint Mary Healthcare in Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Rucho and by her son, David Deorcy.
Judith is survived by her daughter, Jessica Brunelle and her husband Richard of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Dimitri Brunelle and Gracey Brunelle; two brothers, Rudolph Croteau, Jr. of Connecticut, and Gary Croteau of Maine; a sister, Joan Remillard of Grafton, MA; nieces and nephews. Her sister, Pauline, also pre deceased her. Judith was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Rudolph and Margaret C. (Cote) Croteau, and lived in Grafton and Worcester for most of her life, before moving to West Boylston in 2011. She graduated from Grafton High School and later from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.
Judith worked at Memorial Hospital for over forty years as a Registered Nurse. Judith and her husband Louis owned Diane’s Flower Shop on Main Street in Worcester for many years. She was a member of Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church in Shrewsbury.
Calling Hours for Judith will be held on Monday, May 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, and again on Tuesday, May 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church, 34 Gold Street, Shrewsbury (corner of Gold Street and Route 140, between Routes 9 and 20), her Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
