Judith A Schoenfeldt

Judith Ann (Ciccone) Schoenfeldt, 82, of Sutton, formerly of Grafton, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in the comfort of her home.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of sixty-three years, David L. Schoenfeldt; three daughters, Heidi A. Schoenfeldt and her companion Ed Tyler of Shrewsbury; Wendie L. Schoenfeldt of Dudley; and Ammie L. McDonald and her husband David, with whom she lived; five grandchildren, Tyler Jastrzebski, Thomas Murphy, Aidan Murphy, Jaxon McDonald, and Gillian McDonald; a sister, Beverly J. Wilson of Grafton; a niece, Beth Kelly; two nephews, Paul Wilson, and Frankie Ciccone; five great nephews and a great-niece; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Barry W. Ciccone. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Frank J. and Helen M. (Childs) Ciccone.

Judy was a graduate of Grafton High School, in 1961, and was an active member of the Glee Club, Majorettes, Yearbook, and Class Committee. Judy also attended Salter’s Secretarial Business School. Judy worked for many years as a pastry chef at various restaurants and privately from her home. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Grafton, where she was a Deacon of the church as well as an active member of the kitchen staff. She and David were avid trap shooters who belonged to the Auburn Sportsman Club and were American Trap Shooters Association members. Horses were a great passion for Judy, she kept horses on her property and was a long-time affiliate of the 4-H Club of Grafton. 

Judy’s love for her family was paramount in her life, she loved and deeply cherished her husband, and enjoyed the incredible people her children and grandchildren grew to be. 

Calling Hours will be on Friday, February 7, from 4 pm until 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral Service will be at 11 am on Saturday, February 8, in The Baptist Church of Grafton, 1 South Street (at the Town Common), Grafton, MA 01519, please meet directly at church.
