Julie M. Buffone, 46, of Worcester, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
Julie is survived by her children, Brody Kulesza and Elly Kulesza, both of Worcester; her father, Theodore “Ted” Buffone and his partner, Jamie Foy of Worcester; two brothers, Christopher Buffone and his wife Elizabeth of Oxford and Matthew Buffone of Dudley; two nieces, Sophia and Stella Buffone; a nephew, Charlie Buffone; her former husband and father of her children, Gerald Kulesza; many friends and relatives, including her “Bestie” Tara Shaylor and many others who took great care of her in her “hour of need”. Julie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Donna M. (Fegreus) Buffone, who died in January 2014.
Julie graduated from Holy Name High School and received two bachelor’s degrees from Worcester State University, first in Early Childhood Education and her second in Psychology. She was devoted not only to her family but to the education of those with special needs; she worked in the Orleans Public School Department as well as the Worcester Educational Collaborative.
Julie loved crafting and going to the beach at her special place, Orleans, on Cape Cod. She was a dedicated mother, daughter, and fiercely loyal friend.
