Kairi J. Good, 18 of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 in UMass Medical Center, University Campus after complications from a life long battle with kidney disease.
Kairi was born in Worcester where he attended Burncoat High School. Kairi was a strong, intelligent, funny, and beautiful young man. He loved to watch movies, play Xbox, basketball, and spoil his cat, Nala. Although he needed to fight throughout the entirety of his life, it was filled with happiness, laughter, and love. On most days, you could find him playing video games with his cousins, quoting every Star Wars movie, building his Lego masterpieces, or fighting with his sister over the ketchup. If you got lucky, you could even catch a smile.
Kairi was loved by all that crossed his path. He leaves behind his mother, Lindsay Matias; his sister, Savanah Matias; his maternal grandparents, Mary and Joe Matias; an uncle, Nick Matias; two aunts, Alicia and Rebecca Matias, and his god mother, Celeste Carvalho. He is also survived by his father, Jamal Good; his other siblings and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, whom he loved dearly.
The family’s sincerest gratitude to the medical staff at UMass and DaVita.
“May the force always be with you, Kairi.”
