Kenneth L. “KC” Carpenter, Jr., a kind soul with a huge heart passed away with his devoted wife at his side, Thursday, August 29th, 2024, after a period of declining health.
Ken was born May 4, 1950, the son of Ann Marie (Derosier) Carpenter, and Kenneth Carpenter, Sr. Raised in West Boylston, Ken graduated from Wachusett Regional High School, joined the U.S. Marine Corps serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. He lived his entire early life in West Boylston, before moving to Rutland in 1996. KC was welder, packer and shipper for over 35 years for the Wire Way Husky Corporation before retiring.
Ken is survived by his devoted wife, partner and soulmate Pamela (DiGeronimo) Carpenter; nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and owner, Kenny loved to ride and took a lot of enjoyment in riding with Pam, friends and memorial ride groups. Pam and Kenny also enjoyed Auto racing, notably NASCAR. His most memorable times were those spent together with Pam.
Funeral services and entombment in Worcester County Memorial Park will be held Privately. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
