Latanya Spencer Hall

December 19, 1978 — September 2, 2021

Latanya (Spencer) Hall,  42, of Hiram, Georgia formerly of Worcester, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, after a long period of serious health challenges.

Latanya Marie Spencer was born on December 19, 1978, to Louzan Edwards and Debra Spencer in Harlem NY.  She was a smart and inquisitive child who was always wanting to learn new things. She had a fascination with dolls that carried on well into her late teens. Her affinity for dolls led her to create clothes for them. She was a gifted doll clothing designer. She made doll clothing by hand. She was in the process of starting her own business.   Latanya was also an artist, she colored portraits that looked as if they were professionally hand painted. She fell in love with coloring as a child with her grandmother Gloria.

As a child Latanya attended dancing school and was a Brownie. She lived predominantly with her father and stepmother Alicia and spent some time with her mother. Latanya was in a commercial for "All Day Kindergarten" when Anthony Alvarado was able to pass the bill for "all-day kindergarten", She was also in the movie Cotton Club along with her Uncle Shaun, Aunt Gloria, and cousins Wayne, Lateisha and Dolores.

Latanya exhibited nomadic traits at an early age. She moved to Georgia at the age of 19 with her aunt Gloria but also spent time between New York and Massachusetts with her parents. She moved back and forth several times before finally settling in Georgia. Her energetic personality drew people to her, so it was easy for her to make friends. She formed long lasting, lifelong friendships with people in Georgia and people in Worcester, Massachusetts.   She loved dolls so much that she couldn't wait to have her very own real-life doll, Latavia Edwards, she was a loving mother to her brand-new baby. Latanya later had Xavier, Alisha, and Gloria. She loved her children more than anything in this world.  Latanya was full of life, spontaneous, courageous, loving and very helpful. Each time she got off the phone with her loved ones she would affectionately say "I love You".   She enjoyed watching horror films, hanging out with friends but most of all spending time with family especially her children. She loved M& M peanuts and Pepsi, two habits she picked up from Grandmother Gloria.  Latanya enjoyed working a number of different jobs throughout her life, including Walmart and Amazon. She absolutely loved being an Amazon Driver.
