Lelia E. (Faull) Campbell Amorelli, 71, of Shrewsbury, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
She is survived by her loving husband, who she met on a blind date in 1980, Frank J. Amorelli, Jr.; two sons, George Campbell and Holly of Auburn, and Adam Campbell and Dawn of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Ava and Jacob Brown; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Harold Faull, Jr., Charles and William Wood. Lelia was born in Somerville, daughter of the late, Harold C. and Margaret (Hunt) Faull.
Lelia worked for the former Data General for many years, before retiring in 1991. She enjoyed BINGO, puzzles, playing card, portrait painting and reading romance novels. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She was a huge Red Sox fan and for many years she took her children to opening day at Fenway.
Everyday was Christmas in Lelia’s house….her Santa collection numbers in the 100’s; statues, miniatures, pictures, ornaments, and other Santa items and memorabilia.
Memorial Calling Hours will be on Thursday, March 25, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 6 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
Social Distancing protocols and the use of face masks will be practiced at the funeral home.
