Linda Lonardo

Linda (Markman) Lonardo, 60 of Worcester, passed away April 8, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on July 26, 1962 in Worcester, Massachusetts and preceded in death by her father, Arthur Markman, Sr. and her mother Jane (Choruzek) Markman.  She was a 1980 graduate in Graphic Arts from the Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School.

She worked as a Graphic Designer at Hayward Reprographics for 25 years, leaving in 2003 to start her family.  In 2017, she re-entered the workforce as an Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree, leaving in 2020 due to illness.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Andrew Lorardo; her two children, Stephanie and Robert, both of Worcester; a brother, Edward and his wife Conny of Maine; a sister, Gail Beck of Connecticut; several cousins, nieces and nephews; her In-laws, Carmine & Ester Lonardo; brother-in-law, Pasquale Lonardo all of Worcester; a sister-in- law, Patricia Ginisi and her husband, Robert of Shrewsbury.  She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Emma “the barking machine”, Leo and Sophia (best cats ever) and many friends.  Beside her parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Arthur Markman, Jr.

Linda was an avid reader, crafter, and coffee drinker.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children.  The family would like to give a big thank you to the nurses at Compassus and to the special education teachers at Burncoat High School.

Cremation has taken place in accordance with Linda’s wishes and no services are being planned at this time.
