Linda A. Porcaro

Linda A. Porcaro, 81, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at The Christopher House of Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Porcaro in 1999.

Linda is survived by two sons, James Porcaro and his wife Leighann of Old Saybrook, CT, and Michael Porcaro of Worcester; two brothers, Roger Rango and Kevin Rango; and a sister, Karen Rango, all of Worcester; three grandchildren, Bianca Heinssen and her husband Thomas, Angelina Porcaro, and Vincent Porcaro; a great granddaughter, Kathleen Elizabeth Heinssen; nieces and nephews. Linda was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Ralph and Claire (Orcutt) Rango, and has lived here all her life. She graduated from Worcester Commerce High School.

Linda worked for many years at Worcester East Middle School as a teacher’s aide. She was a member of Saint Stephen’s Church, she enjoyed baking and was an “Avon Lady” for many years. 

Calling Hours will be on Sunday, December 29, from 3 pm until 6 pm at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be on Monday, with a procession departing the funeral home at  9:40 am en-route to a 10 am Mass at Saint Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton Street, Worcester. Interment will follow at Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
