Lisa A. Johnson, 49 of Webster formerly of Worcester, daughter of Vincent and Christine Gorgoglione, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 6, 2019.
Lisa was born in Worcester on September 2, 1970. Her father was the late Alan Johnson. She graduated from North High School and earned her associate degree from Quinsigamond Community College. She lived many years in Worcester, before moving to Webster four years ago. Lisa worked for many years as a manager for the Honey Farms Convenience store chain and also Campy’s Deli.
Lisa is survived by her mother Christine (Panczyk) Gorgoglione and her step father Vincent Gorgoglione of Punta Gorda, Florida; a sister, Amy L. Johnson of Worcester; a brother, Matthew Gorgoglione and his fiancé Andrew Messere of Cambridge; a niece, Kayla and nephew Tyler; Many extended family and friends including her best friend Lisa Cavalieri. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Lena and William, and a Cousin Justin.
Lisa was a simple woman, who enjoyed simple pleasures in life, her family, animals and especially her fur babies Sadie, Pumpkin, and Jimmy. She was a social butterfly who could make friends with anyone she met. Lisa was a kind, wonderful, and sincere person, with a unique sense of humor who touched the lives of many. She was an avid New England sports fan, especially the Boston Bruins. Lisa will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, December 15th from 3 pm to 5 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A prayer service will be celebrated at 5 pm. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. For more information visit www.mercadantefuneral.com.
