Luis A Fernandez

Luis A. Fernandez 88 of Worcester died peacefully on Friday April 2, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital.  Born in the Dominican Republic, Luis has been a resident of Worcester for many years where he and his late wife Anna raised their family and watched them grow and have families of their own.  Luis was deeply loved by his family and has left a place that will never be filled by another.  He truly was a great family man. 

Luis was an amazing Father, Grandfather, Son, Husband and Brother. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. Luis had a warm heart and a radiant smile which was vey contagious. May he continue to watch over his family from heaven.

Luis leaves one son Luis Pena, three daughters Yubelquis Pena. Jael Fernandez, Weldy Matias Brunilda Pena, one sister Brunilda Rodriguez and six grandchildren, Hector Pena, Johanna Santo, Yuldalina Bisono, Radhaisi Bisono, Isael Bisono, Luis Pena and Wally Pena. 

Funeral services for Luis will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 beginning with calling hours from 10-12noon at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester, Ma 01605.  A Mass will follow at St. Joan of Arc 570 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605 at 12:30.
