Luz C Aponte

Luz Aponte of Worcester, MA passed away Sunday, August 23 at the age of 74. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves behind her husband Ramon Aponte. Three children Nyrma Ramos, Lucy Aponte and Ramon Aponte ll and his wife Brunilda Aponte. Eight grandchildren Jennifer Reyes, Jessica Perez, Charlene Reyes, Ramon Aponte lll, Kassandra Perez, Miguel Aponte, Kayla Perez and Angelik Aponte. She was also a great grandmother of five. She loved spending time with family, cooking and bingo. Every Saturday Luz and her husband would go out to eat breakfast, followed by yard sales and surprise visits to see her children, grand/great-grand children. Her voice and laugh are one you’d never forget. She will be missed dearly.

Family and Friends are invited to gather for Calling Hours on Tuesday, August 25 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p. m. at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 p. m. in the funeral home.  Interment will be  Wednesday, August 26 at Hope Cemetery in Worcester.

Social Distancing and the use of masks that cover both nose and mouth will be practiced.
