Lynne (Steiman) Beando

Lynne R. (Steiman) Beando, 73, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 19, 2018.  

Her husband, James N. Beando, passed away in March 2014.  She is survived by her best friend, sister-in-law and principle caregiver, Barbara Bantz of Rutland; her brother Mark Steiman and his wife Anita of Attleboro; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Anthony and Deborah Beando; eight nieces and nephews; and, many extended family and friends. 

She was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Israel and Sadye (Silver) Steiman and was a lifelong resident. 

She worked as a clerk for the Ziff Paper Company, before retiring in 2003.  She previously worked for the Salvation Army.   She loved golf and enjoyed bowling, being with her family and friends, and enjoying many days with Jimmy before he passed.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on WEDNESDAY, MAY 23^rd in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St. Interment will follow at St John Cemetery and Mausoleum. 

Memorial Observance will be held Wednesday and Thursday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Steiman home in Attleboro, MA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
