The social worker said she had many conversations with Marcus and he always said he wanted to get better, but on Thanksgiving he said he couldn’t do it anymore, he was tired.
Marcus leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and caring wife of thirty years, Lilly M. (Carty) Cannon of Tela, Honduras; daughter, Shauna L. Marcus Cannon never once complained of pain even though his illness caused him great pain, he would never show it or complain about anything. He continued to joke as he always does, loving to make people laugh. He never gave up fighting until the very end. One day the doctors asked him what does he have to look forward to if he gets better and he said “ my grandkids, Jaelen and Jaaliyah” he wanted to see them grow up and help care for them he loved them more than anything.
Everyone who cared for him enjoyed his presence and seen what a funny, smart, kind hearted person he was.
He was always giving to EVERYBODY, volunteering to help everyone and anyone that needed anything.
We Will Forever Love You and You will be very missed by many!
