Margaret Ann “Peggy” (Muse) Forget, 75, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023, with the family she loved gathered at her bedside. She joins in heaven her husband of 28 years, Robert J. Forget who passed away in 1993 and son Robert J. Forget Jr. in 1969.
Peggy was born in Whitinsville, the daughter of William F. Muse, Sr and Lucille (Leduc) Muse. Raised in Whitinsville and a graduate of Northbridge High, Peggy married Bob and lived in Whitinsville and then six years in Lisbon, Maine before returning to Worcester. She worked in medical records at Adcare Hospital before retiring. At one time, Peggy and Bob raised sulky racing horses.
She is survived by her daughter Renee Tierney and her husband Philip of Worcester; her best friend and sister, Carol LaBonte and her husband Gary of Millbury; brother William Muse Jr. and wife Sandy; nieces Jessica LaBonte, Kristen LaBonte and Samantha Muse, nephew Steven Muse, great nephew Joshua LaBonte, great nieces Caroline LaBonte and Alysia LaBonte, great great niece Emillia LaBonte and extended Tierney family and many beloved friends.
Peggy loved music, she loved to sing and did so with the Post Road Chorus and Metrowest Harmony Chorus for 20 years. She also enjoyed dancing, laughing, the ocean, crochet, cruises, watching football and playing Bingo.
A period of calling hours will be held Wednesday, February 1st from 3 pm to 6 pm followed by a prayer service at 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Whitinsville will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, 1255 Soldiers Field Rd, Boston, MA 02138.
