Marianne F. Peterson-LeBlanc

Marianne F. (Roche) Peterson-LeBlanc, 66 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2023 with her family by her side.

Marianne was born on July 10, 1957, a daughter of Diane F. Markowski and the late John Joseph Roche. She was a graduate of Burncoat Senior High School and later received an associate degree from Quinsigamond Community College. Marianne worked fiercely as a real estate agent for various firms for many years. She worked in the sales department for Bob’s Furniture.

Marianne was an avid shopper and a fan of the beach. She took her children to Hampton until she moved to South Kingstown, RI where she could wake up with the ocean breeze. She was the “Hostess with the Mostest”, literally “The Entertainer.” Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She was the most generous soul to everyone she met. 

Marianne is survived by a son Richard D. Renauld of Worcester; her daughter, Amy D. Conners and her husband James of Westborough; her former husband Lawrence LeBlanc of Rhode Island; two brothers, Paul Roche of Holden and Don Markowski of Barre; two sisters, Lorraine Carlson of Worcester and Jeanne Rafferty of Northborough; three grandchildren, Abigail Renauld, Camille Conners and Kendra Conners; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and aunts. She is predeceased by her stepfather, Richard C. Markowski

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 3-6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Service will be held on Monday, August 28th with a procession from the funeral home to Saint John’s Church 40 Temple St., Worcester where the funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.  Burial will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105
