Marie C Williams

Marie C. (Chute) Williams 93 of Boylston died recently at the Christopher House in Worcester.  Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Mary (Burns) Chute. A graduate of Commerce High School, Marie went on to graduate from the Worcester School of Business Science and was employed by the former Reed Prentice Corp until she became a stay-at-home mom to raise her children.  In later years, she joined State Mutual as an executive secretary in 1991 after 23 years of service. 

Marie enjoyed many years of ballroom and round dancing, traveling, and working in her flower garden. She was a member of St. Mary of the Hills in Boylston and will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Marie was pre-deceased by her husband of 46 years Norman W. Williams who died August 31, 2021, and by her brothers William and Paul Chute.

Marie leaves her sons William R. Hamm of Bristol Ct. and John Hamm and his wife Suzanne of Worcester, one step son Steven Williams and his wife Sarah of Pa, a grandson Jacob Brisbois of Princeton and three wonderful nieces Pamela Reponen and her husband David of Holden, Paula Amiralian and her husband Alan of Framingham and Ann Moncada of Framingham.

Funeral services for Marie will be held on Saturday November 13, 2021 at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester, Ma 01605.  Calling hours will be from 10-11am with a service to begin at 11am. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery Boylston.
