Marion A. (Navolski) Mesale, 100 of Worcester died peacefully at her home in Worcester on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
Marion leaves her daughter, Mary Ellen Mesale with whom she lived; a son, Jack (John F.) and his wife Susan of Shrewsbury; a son, Martin and his wife Caroline of Smithfield, RI.
“Nana” leaves five grandchildren: Lauren, Liz, Mark, Andrew and Annie. Four great-grandchildren: Lia, Max, Hannah and Benjamin, and many nieces and nephews.
Marion’s husband, John J. Mesale, died in 1992. She was also predeceased by a son, James; her sister, Antoinette Ivaska; and a brother, William Navolski.
Marion was born in Worcester; she was the daughter of the late Steven and Mary (Verbauskas) Navolski and lived in Worcester all her life. A graduate of Worcester Girls Trade School, Marion was a seamstress and worked at Wyman & Gordon during WWII, General Electric, Graton & Knight Co, Jantzen and David Clark. She was a member of the former St. Casimir and St. Stephen’s Church.
Funeral services for Marion will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Calling hours will be from 9-10:30am at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester, Ma 01605 followed by a procession to St. Stephen’s Church for an 11am Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery Worcester.
