Marion Mikelonis

Marion (Monkley) Mikelonis, 67, of Whitinsville, MA, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was the beloved wife of Michael, cherished mother of Laura and her fiancé, Jesse of Douglas and Anthony and his wife Casey of Uncasville, CT; loving grandmother of Vincent.  

She is also survived by brothers and sisters, Linda Turner, Jean Fardelmann, Dorothy Hachigan, Raymond Monkley; many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Monkley, Jr.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Edward and Genevieve (Bogel) Monkley.

Marion worked as an insurance agent for many years. She was an active member at the Elks lodge in Auburn, MA. Marion loved cooking, spending time with family, relaxing on the beach and gardening.  

Calling Hours will be on Wednesday, February 15, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St, Worcester.  Marion’s Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, February 16, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St., Worcester.
