Mary L. (Mobilio) Allard, 84, a lifelong resident of Millbury passed away suddenly Monday, December 12, 2022.
Mary was born in Worcester, August 19, 1938, one of five children of Italian Immigrants Vincenzo and Camilla (Scoppettone) Mobilio.
In 1956, Mary married “The Love of her Life” and lifelong soulmate Richard “Dick” Allard Sr. They settled in Millbury and raised their children with love and devotion with Dick by her side for over 63 years before he passed away in 2020.
Mary worked for the Town of Millbury in the elementary, middle school and high school cafeterias for many years.
Mary was a true mom, who let nothing come before her family, including her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They were her pride and greatest joy.
She is survived by her five children, Chyrel Pacheco and Rick Allard, Jr. of Millbury, Vincent P. Allard and his wife Dianne of Sutton, Arthur E. Allard, and his wife Pamela of Millbury, and Eva Kupcinskas and her companion James Dube of Whitinsville; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren who she loved and adored; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In addition to her husband Dick, and parents, Mary had four siblings Albert Mobilio, Armando Mobilio, Theresa LaPlume and Elina Palermo who all predeceased her.
Dick was an enthusiastic trap shooter and Mary enjoyed traveling with him to trap shooting events. She was also a trap shooter herself and at one point, many years ago, she held the Massachusetts State Women’s championship title. Mary also enjoyed traveling to Florida for the winter with Dick, spending time with her sister, Elina and brother-in-law Armand “Mundy” and many friends.
Mary was the ROCK of her family, very strong willed, loving, and caring. She always put everyone else before herself.
