Mary Ann Copeland

Mary A. Copeland 57 of Worcester, affectionately known by many as "Mom" died on July 4, 2021, at UMass hospital. Born in Worcester she was the daughter of the late Paul and Exilda (Dionne) Emond and has lived her entire life in the city she loved to serve.

Mary will be remembered for her beautiful and compassionate heart, warming smile and welcoming embrace extended to everyone she met throughout her life. As many will testify, Mary was not only a devoted wife and mother, but it was also Mary's nature to act as a second mother to almost everyone she met. She has touched the lives and helped to guide any who opened their heart to her. Mary has left a void that will not be filled by another, while her memory and compassion she showed others will live on for generations.

Mary leaves her beloved husband of 15 years, Jason Copeland and one son Adam Boulette, one brother Edward Emond and two sisters, Paula Donofrio and Donna Aucoin.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 13, 2021, at 11am at St. Bernard's Church of our lady of Providence Parish 228 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. There are no calling hours. There will be a small gathering at her sister Donna and brother in law's home after the mass, please inquire with the family if you are interested in attending.
