Mary (Hall) Troio, 83, of North Oxford died peacefully Thursday December 31, 2020 at home. Her first husband Vernan V. Vanasse predeceased her many years ago, and her second husband Leonard M. Troio died in 2016. Mary is survived by her three children, Tammy Tovmassian and her husband Jack, Alfred R Vanasse 2nd and his wife Brenda and Nola Rae Drew and her husband Steve. Mary also leaves her stepchildren Maureen McHugh and her husband Kevin, Matthew Troio and his wife Nancy, Kevin Troio and his wife Janet, Stephen Troio and his wife Jen, and Keith Troio.
Mary was the proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a grandson David Yanis, a brother Edward Hall Jr., and a daughter Marion Leigh Vanasse.
Mary was born in Glens Falls N.Y. daughter of the late Edson and Pauline (Ross) Hall and lived in Princeton for many years and settled in Oxford many years ago. Mary worked for the Joseph Leavitt company for many years and was also a cook in various nursing homes. Mary was a former member of St. Ann Church. Mary enjoyed camping and loved to cook. She belonged to several bowling leagues. But her most treasured times was when she was with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held at the families Convenience in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
