Mason A. Bergeron, 39, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in the comfort of his home.
Mason is survived by two children, Jeffrey J. Bergeron and Briseis A. Bergeron, both of Worcester; two brothers, Mark Bergeron of Webster and Matthew Bergeron of Worcester; the mother of his children, Kathryn Bergeron of Worcester; his father, William L. Bergeron of Webster; his father-in-law, Michael Rudy of Ocala, FL; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his girlfriend, Athena Petsas in November 2021 and by his brother, Michael Bergeron. Mason was born in Worcester, son of the late Barbara Jean (Dockery) Bergeron, and has lived here all his life. Mason graduated from Doherty High School and received a bachelor’s degree from New England Institute of Technology.
Mason was an electrical engineer with Doble Engineering, having previously worked on biotechnology devices at UMass Hospital. He enjoyed drawing, playing darts, gaming, and movies with surround sound. He loved to be with his children and would often attend concerts with them, when not simply “hanging around”.
Relatives and Friends will gather to remember Mason at Calling Hours on Saturday, July 30, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester; there will be a brief Prayer Services at 12:30 p.m.
