Maureen F Connolly

Maureen F. (Spillane) Connolly 81 of Spencer died after a brief illness on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital.  Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Mary (Donahue) Spillane.  Maureen lived in Spencer since 1978 and was employed at the Worcester Tool and Stamping as a machinist for many years retiring in 2006. Maureen was the wife of the late Mark Connolly who died in 2020.

Maureen leaves her son Mark Langevin and her daughter-in-law Marie Langevin, her daughter Lori Yard and her son John Langevin.  Maureen also leaves 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her friend and “sister” Kate Fafard.  Besides her husband Mark of 42 years, Maureen was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Paulhus and sister Patricia Generelli.

The family would like to thank Desmond Debrah-Nketiah for his dedication and compassionate care of Mark for 18 months before his passing and continued care of Maureen for the last 2 years making it possible for them to both stay in their home up until their passing.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Barton Center for Diabetes Education, Inc.

Funeral services for Maureen will be held from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01605.  Calling hours will be on Thursday July 14, 2022 from 3-5:30 pm followed by a memorial service at 5:30pm.
