He was a long-time sheet metal worker with the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 63. He was a member of North American Martyrs Church.
Michael was deeply devoted to his family, his grandchildren could do no wrong, and was so excited to have recently become a great grandfather. Michael was a yard sale expert and would stop religiously at nearly every yard sale that came across his path. He absolutely loved growing up in their family home in York, Maine. The ocean was his calm place and he loved to visit the Nubble Lighthouse, Staying at the Ocean House in Old Orchard Beach, Easter Family vacations at Deer Park in the White Mountains New Hampshire. He cherished his family and friends and was only a phone call away as he was always ready to lend a hand.
Michael was the life of the party. His presence and sense of humor captivated a room. His caring and tenderness were apparent in the late 90’s when he helped volunteer at Saint Vincent Hospital with his mother; a memory she cherishes to this day.
