Michael S. Naple, 49 of Worcester, passed away with loved ones at his side on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, after a valiant battle with cancer. He joins in heaven his father Louis P. Naple, Jr who passed away April 4th, mother and stepfather, Beverly and Phillip Sanderson, and brother Joseph Gillespie.
Born and raised in Worcester, Michael graduated from North High School class of 1989; worked many years as a chimney mason for Emener Chimney Company. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and football fan, notably the Dallas Cowboys.
Michael is survived by four children, Michael Naple Jr in Florida, Teahna Naple and Domanick Naple of Worcester, and Mariana Gentile of Ware; his stepmother, Patricia Naple of Worcester; six siblings, Michelle Naple in Florida, Marci Bartiewicz and her husband Joseph of Worcester, Patricia Racine of Charlton, Laura Ames of Shrewsbury, and Maureen Leighton of Worcester; his significant other, Nicole Bateman; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family during calling hours, Wednesday, April 28, from 3 pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A prayer service will immediately follow at 6 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in his name can be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, care of the VNA Hospice, 120 Thomas Street.
