Michael A Perri

Michael A. Perri, of Shrewsbury beloved son of George and Theresa (Montecalvo) Perri, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 23^rd 2018 at home.

He was born in Worcester,  raised in Shrewsbury and graduated from Shrewsbury High School and has lived here all his life.

Besides his parents, Michael is survived by his fiancé Christina Taft; his five sisters,  Anita Callahan and her husband Daniel of Worcester, Nanci Palumbo and her husband Paul of Sutton,  Josephine Berman of Sudbury, Theresa Convery of Allenstown, NH, and Rita Perri of Shrewsbury; six nieces, six nephews, extended family and friends.

Michael was a talented craftsman working with, wood, tile and stone and worked  those talents for the Local 3, Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Union, for several construction companies including Zani Tile.   Michael cherished his family as did they cherish him and will be greatly missed.

Michael’s funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am Thursday April 26^th at St Mary’s Church, 640 Main St, Shrewsbury.  Burial will follow in Mt View Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to  the Massachusetts Brain Injury Association, 30 Lyman St. suite 10, Westborough, Mass 01581.  The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME and CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
