We mournfully announce the passing of Michele Perry, of Worcester Massachusetts. Michele passed away on September 9th, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones and passed peacefully.
Michele is survived by her mother Joan Perry of Worcester; her brother Matthew Ledoux, his wife Laurie Boyer-Ledoux of Mesa Arizona and their son Chance Boyer of Rockville Maryland; and her brother Paul Ledoux and his wife Alexis Ledoux of Worcester.
Michele was born on September 11th 1976. She grew up in Worcester and graduated from Worcester Vocational Technical High School in 1995. She then went to Quinsigamond Community College and earned a degree in Radiologic Technology, completing the program in 2006. She dedicated her life caring for others, entering the health care field at a young age and never leaving it. She worked at many hospitals over the years and found great pride and gratification taking care of her patients. Michele loved deeply and with her whole heart. She had many amazing friends and touched many lives. She loved animals, painting, and to be near the water.
Michele also strongly believed in positive energy, that what you put into the world you got back from it. It is evident the amount of care she put into the world when looking through the posts her friends and family have left on her Facebook wall. When Michele was able to read them, it brought joy and peace to her in an incredibly difficult and painful situation. She lived humbly, with love and kindness and will be deeply missed.
Services will be held on Tuesday, September 14th from 5-7 pm with her funeral service to begin immediately at 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Michele’s name to the UMass Cancer Center https://www.umassmed.edu/cancer-center/ways-to-give.
