Monique Rose Fisher, 40, of Reading, PA, formerly of Worcester and Hyannis, passed away on April 14, 2021 at Reading Hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Monique is survived by three sons, Isaiah Luna and Ivonnet Romero of Worcester, Demetri Fisher and David Wallace, IV, both of Reading; two daughters, Octavia Wallace and Elsie Wallace, both of Reading; her husband, David Wallace, III of Reading; her mother, Linda (Taylor) Fisher of Hyannis; her father, Mark Fisher and his wife Robin of Chesapeake, VA; three sisters, Valerie Fisher and Melissa Fisher, both of Worcester, and Nicole Fisher of Hyannis; a step-brother, Christopher Gilfoy of Chesapeake; two step-sisters, Jennifer Delacruz of Chesapeake, VA and Angela Taylor of Norfolk, VA; three grandchildren, Mariah, Zionne, and Dior; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended Hargrove family members. She was pre-deceased by a granddaughter, Ariah’lyn.
Monique was born in Worcester and grew up in Hyannis. She moved to Reading in the early 2000’s where she worked and a CNA, most recently for Berks-Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She loved bowling, dancing, cooking, and great music. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by family.
Calling Hours for Monique will be on Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m. until her Funeral Service begins at 1 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. “Livestreaming” of her service will begin at 1 p.m. and can be seen by visiting www.mercadantefuneral.com, and selecting “live services” from the menu; the “stream” will begin automatically.
