Moussa Bchara, 92, of Worcester, a U.S. Immigrant from Syria, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, surrounded by family.
Moussa was born in Quneitra, of Syria, one of five children of Amin and Salumi Beshara. Raised in Syria, Moussa worked as an executive for an ABC Oil Company many years before retiring and immigrating to the US in 2012. He previously worked in the same capacity for the UK, English government.
Moussa is survived by his wife, Fryal (Khuzam) Bchara; three children, Salma Beshara and her husband Basam Bitar, Saleem Beshara and his wife Nour all in the Netherlands and Fadi Beshara in Worcester; his former daughter in law, Souad Beshara; six grandchildren, Farid, Eiad, Mousa, Adonis, Fay, and Jude; Many nieces, nephews, and extended family around the world.
Moussa, an outgoing man with a huge heart and bright smile, loved entertaining, having family and friends around him. He was fluid in several languages including English and Arabic. “May his memory be eternal”
All are invited to calling hours, Tuesday, May 7th from 9 am to 11 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & Chapel, 370 Plantation St. His funeral service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be Hope Cemetery.
