Nevada’s husband Will, passed away in 1983.   A stay at home mom, Nevada continued to lead and take care of her children, insuring they had all the opportunities to succeed.    Along the way she, lost two sons, Neil C. Humpries in 2002 and Will Humphries, III  in 2014 as well as ten brothers and sisters.   She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Fisher and her partner Maria Diaz of Sterling, Martha Humphries and her fiancée Michael Iacavone of Worcester; her youngest sister, Daisy Towns in Georgia; four grandchildren she was so proud of and lovingly called her “gramma”, Hope, Joyce, and Alisha Fisher, and Angelo M. Raised as a Southern Baptist, Nevada attended Second Baptist church in Worcester;   Along with her husband, Nevada’s children, grandchildren, and entire family came first.  A self-chosen housewife, Nevada cared for, cooked, and took great pride raising her family.  They always came first.  She was the backbone of her family, devoted to them her entire life, especially her grandchildren, who called her “Gramma”.  She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; spending time with family,  special dinners, guiding and counselling her family, and watching old westerns.   She was very generous with her love, time, and resources, and helped anyone she could.   Her unwavering faith kept her grounded and helped her through the many loses of loved ones.   Her death leaves a void in our hearts but her loving and caring soul will never be forgotten.
