Patricia “Patty” (Sbrogna) Bafaro, 77, a lifelong resident of Worcester, passed away peacefully Saturday April 1, 2023, after a long period of declining health.
Patty was born in Worcester, July 3, 1945, the daughter of Andrew “Chico” and Christine (Russo) Sbrogna. She graduated from Venerini Academy and started her life. Patty worked as a private secretary for the Office of Dr Blanchard, later as an Executive Secretary for the Rosenburg Law offices, before retiring.
Patty is survived by her son, Andrew Sbrogna and his wife Jennie in Tennessee; granddaughter, Victoria of Tennessee; a sister, Judy Gedman of Sandwich; Nieces, nephews including Kristopher, extended family and friends. Her husband of 28 years, Richard J. Bafaro, predeceased her.
Patty was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish. She began playing the accordion at a young age and played for many years entertaining family and friends. Her talents shined through whatever she did. Whether it was cooking a gourmet meal, baking Italian cookies, or making costumes for Andy in school plays, she did everything with pride and perfection. She was also a collector of estate jewelry.

Funeral services and entombment in St John Mausoleum were held privately. THE MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
