Patricia A. Hewins

Patricia A. (Sclamo) Hewins, 73, of Worcester passed away December 1, 2022 surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer.  Her husband of ten years, Raymond Hewins predeceases her.

Patricia was born in Worcester, one of seven children to the late Joseph V. and Dorothy (Racienski) Sclamo. She was a graduate of South High School.

She is survived by her two children, Joseph Miles, Jr., and Jo-Ann Miles both of Worcester; four brothers, Stephen Sclamo of Worcester, Joseph Sclamo, Jr., Marc C. Sclamo of Auburn, and Michael Sclamo; two sisters, Joanne Mallett of Worcester and Donna Sclamo; two grandchildren, Majestic Marlborough and Vanessa Sclamo, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  A sister, Mary Giacobbi predeceases her.

A period of calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 7th from 10 am to 11:00 am, followed by a prayer service in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St.  Burial will follow to Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia’s name can be sent to The American Cancer Society, www.donate3.cancer.org.
