Patricia J. (Sacco) Renzoni, 77 of Berlin, MA, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 in Southgate at Shrewsbury surrounded by her devoted family.
She leaves behind her husband of fifty-six years, Ray A. Renzoni; her two daughters and their husbands; Robin Renzoni-Sweetapple and David Sweetapple of Brattleboro, VT; Karen Galligan and James Galligan of Medway, MA; a brother, Michael G. Sacco, Sr. of Chestefield, VA; two grandchildren, Joseph Galligan of North Augusta, SC and William Galligan of West Lafayette, IN; and numerous beloved cousins and friends.
Patricia was born in Shrewsbury, daughter to Josephine M. (Stuczko) and Michael J. Sacco. She graduated from Shrewsbury High School and received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Worcester State College. Patricia was active in the National Association of Accountants and served as the Northeast Regional Council President for the Institute of Management Accountants from 1994-1995. She loved her work and retired twice from Hillside School. Patricia was very spiritual and made her Cursillo where she met fast friends that continued as a prayer group for twenty years. She was an avid knitter and beader, but a passionate reader. Patricia loved books, shared them with her daughters and joined a book group after retiring. Patricia enjoyed traveling and was always willing to go on an adventure. She adored the beach and spent as much time as she could at the Cape or in Newfoundland.
Her daughters would like to express how thankful they are to Salmon Hospice, Sam, Kelly, and Sarah; Worcester Home Care, Ana, Gladys, and Diana; to Deb at Southgate and the aides at Southgate, especially Sheila.
