Paul P. Boudreau, 58, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Saint Vincent Hospital.
Paul is survived by a son, Justin P. Boudreau and his wife Aleksandra of Sarasota, FL; two beloved grandsons, Ethan and Noah; his mother, Joan A. (Cournoyer) Boudreau of Worcester; two brothers, George E. Boudreau of Hamden, MA and Gerald A. Boudreau of West Boylston; three sisters, Susan J. Sangenario, Marie L. Hultquist (his favorite), and Doris M. Boudreau, all of Worcester; an aunt, several cousins, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Paul was born in Worcester, son of the late George A. Boudreau, and has lived here all his life.
Paul worked as a printer for over thirty years at Commonwealth Press, until they closed; he also worked at Saltus press for 12 years as Dept manager. He won printing awards with his brother Gerry, including the Ben Franklin award and 2nd place in a computer print competition. He was a devoted member of Saint Christopher Parish where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a dedicated volunteer. Paul was a born to be musical, he was a song writer from an early age and played guitar in the band Tyco Brim.
Paul was devoted to the happiness of his family and enjoyed camping, being with family and simply having good times. Two of his proudest moments in life were when he married his son and the birth of his grandsons
Calling Hours for Paul will be on Friday, November 29, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. His Funeral will be on Saturday, November 30, departing the funeral home at 9:35 a.m. in procession to a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Saint Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Charlene Ann Foundation, P.O. Box 608, Boylston, MA 01505; a breast cancer foundation with the goal of taking the financial burden away from families, named in honor of his niece, who valiantly fought this disease.
