Paul W. Sanders

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Paul W. Sanders, 61, of Worcester. 

Born in Pawtucket, RI, Paul was the beloved son of Elizabeth (Bonner) Lawton and James R. Sanders. 

Paul’s greatest joys were spending time with his mom on their patio; writing notes back and forth with his granddaughter, Natalia; watching football with his son, John; spending time with his entire family, hanging out with his friend, Ed; and feeding the wildlife outside his home. He was a quiet man with a kind heart. 

In addition to his mother, Paul leaves behind his loving son, John Sanders of Worcester; his adored granddaughter, Natalie; his dear siblings, Kevin Sanders and his wife Joan of Worcester, Catherine Leger and her fiancée James Abasciano of Auburn, John Lawton and his wife Lisa of Bolton; his cherished nieces and nephews, Tara, Jake, Julie, Jessica, Jordyn, Nathan, and Ashley; and many extended family of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Robin Sanders and his grandmother, Katherine Bonner. 

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the wonderful memories we shared as a family.
