Paul R. Selzo, 93 of Worcester passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2023, in Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. His beloved wife of 47 years, Mary E. (Lamarine) Selzo died in 2007.
He leaves his daughter, Trina M. Carbonneau and her husband Mark of Millbury; a son, Michael A. Selzo and his wife Sharon and three grandsons along with niece’s Nancy Dalton, Susan Selzo and a nephew, Robert Selzo. Paul is predeceased by a daughter, Wendy A. Dusoe and a brother, Robert Selzo. Paul was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, the son of the late Michael H. Selzo and Emily (Elliott) Selzo. He was a World War II Veteran of the US Army volunteering at the age of seventeen and earning his High School diploma whiles stationed in Hawaii. Paul worked for over 35 years as a foreman for the MassDot Highway Division (formally Mass Dot of Public Works). He enjoyed spending time at Lake Park with his dog Millie and coming home to find his cat Maddie waiting for him. He enjoyed summers filling the front and walkway of this home with flowers.
A burial alongside of his wife, Mary will be celebrated privately at St. Johns Cemetery, Worces- ter. There are no additional services.
