Peter A. Shays

Peter A. Shays, 47, of Worcester died Tuesday, July 7, 2020. He was born May 26, 1972, the son of the late Linda M. (Chiras) Bandilla and Harry L. Shays, Sr.  He was raised with Linda and the late Stephen F. Bandilla, Jr

He leaves two sons, Peter A. Shays Jr., and Christopher R. Shays: a daughter, Angela R. Harvey and her husband Jay Harvey; six grandchildren, many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends. He is predeceased by a brother, Harry L. Shays, Jr., whom he missed very much.

Peter worked for numerous roofing companies over the years. Most recently working alongside his brother at Bandilla & Sons Construction.

Peter will be remembered for his sense of humor, the ability to make people laugh even when having a bad day. We will all miss him deeply he was a kind person, would help anyone who needed a helping hand.

He may be gone but he will never be out of our memories.  Remember him and smile as he would after spending time with you.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, the family will not be having any calling hours but hope to have a life celebration at another time where we can all share special memories to a life cut short but well-lived.
