The beloved Ray or Diney as his friends and family called him leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth and devotion, touching countless lives, especially those children he adored and tirelessly supported. Ray W. Robinson Jr., 75, of Springfield, MD, died at Westborough Healthcare in Westborough, MA of spinal cord cancer on July 11, 2024. He was born in Springfield, MD in 1948 to Sarah F. McDaniel and Ray Robinson. Ray (Diney) was an amazing man who took care of his mother up until the lord called her home. Ray went to school in Baltimore, Maryland and was known for showing people the latest dance moves. He was know stranger to the stage and he knew how to make people laugh when he stroked a pose. With his impeccable style and flair for fashion, Ray (Diney) is always dressed to impress, showcasing the latest designer trends and turning heads wherever he goes. He attended Samuel L. Gunther High School before going into business for himself. Ray (Diney) is a true entrepreneur at heart, thriving on the freedom and autonomy of being his own boss. He's a self-starter who relishes the independence of running his own show.
He was a solo entrepreneur who loved the flexibility and control of working on his own terms. Ray (Diney) will always be remembered for his connoisseur of fine alcohol. He enjoyed socializing over a glass of Casamigos. We'll always imagine hearing him say, "Would you like a glass of the best Casamigos on this side of Massachusetts" or how he never forgot to call his siblings for their birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better brother, friend, uncle, and we will miss Ray (Diney) every day. Ray (Diney) memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
