Rene A. Cloutier

Rene A. Cloutier, 91, of Worcester passed away on October 10, 2023. Born in Woonsocket, RI on May 21, 1932, to Jean Marie Armand and Irene (Marquis) Cloutier. He was the beloved husband of 50 years to the late Shirley M. (Boucher) Cloutier. 

Rene is survived by his loving daughter, Iris Brooks and her husband Louis Martin of Worcester; his cherished sibling, Roland Cloutier of Woonsocket, RI; his adored 5 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Paul and Joseph Cloutier, Janeen Saumur, Olive Turcotte and Lillian Plant.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 9:30am to 11:00am at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am in the funeral home with interment to follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to his daughter Iris.
