Elder Dyer or “Rev”, as he was affectionately known, was the Pastor of True Way Church of God in Christ in Springfield, MA. He served also as President of the Evangelistic Department of the Greater New Hampshire Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. His sincere love for God and people, was a beacon of light to everyone he encountered. He was a unique soul who took the time to love everyone unconditionally. Elder Dyer and Mother Dyer took in many children and raised them as their own, eliminating the need to say “stepchildren”. They were their own children. He served faithfully, with great devotion, love, and passion. He lived his life practicing The Golden Rule, “do unto others, as you would have them do unto you” as proclaimed in the Word of God. His strong and deeply rooted faith in God brought him great joy. The joy of the Lord was his strength.
Elder Dyer will always be remembered for his love for souls and leading them to Jesus Christ. He was “An EVANGELIST”. He shared the gifts he was given with the homeless, misguided and those who stood in need.
Elder Dyer was a conduit of holistic remedies and herbal medicines and shared his knowledge of this type of health and wellness with everyone he knew. He believed in the soothing power of music and was a talented singer, songwriter and he played both the harmonica and guitar. Above all else he will be remembered as a loving husband and dedicated father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend, mentor, and proclaimer of the good Word of God. It goes without saying, there is a void in all our hearts that can only be filled by knowing you are finally walking with Jesus! Elder Dyer, a.k.a “Daddy, Lee, Grandpa, Rev”, you are missed and forever loved!
