Richard W. Hall, 69, a lifelong resident of Worcester, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 20th, 2024, after being stricken ill at home.
Richard was born January 18, 1955, the son of Harold and Sylvia (Jozefowski) Hall. He graduated from Doherty High School in 1973. Richard was a master electrician, and served as owner of Hall Electric for many years before retiring.
Richard is survived by his two children, Kevin M. Hall and his wife Monica of Charlton, Jessica M. Vinton and her husband James with whom he lived; a brother, Jeffrey Hall, three sisters, Sandra, Lisa Fox, and Heidi Doherty; three grandchildren he found so much joy with, Austin, Jordan and Niko; his best friend and pet golden retriever “Libby”; nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his sister Debbie.
A quiet man with a huge heart, devoted sense of purpose to his family, Richard enjoyed motorcycles, the beach, boating on Lake Quinsigamond, and most enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s activities. His special bond with Niko will be something that is always remembered. He was a member of the Auburn Elks and the Vernon Hill Post American legion.
A period of calling hours will be held Friday, July 26th, 2024, from 5 to 6 pm followed by a prayer service at 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. The burial will be private.
